RESERVATION

Reservation is not mandatory, but if you make a reservation, life will be easier for both you and us!

We are in the Aegean, as you know, and we are very fortunate to have a variety of herbs and produce at our fingertips. As we always emphasize, the heart of Çiy is its kitchen. Naturally, when designing the Guesthouse, we thought of it in harmony with the kitchen, ensuring that every element we present under this roof is independent yet always in harmony, just like our dishes. We take care to reveal the connection between things that may not seem related to each other visibly. To achieve this, we named our village rooms after the plants in the valley where we are located, using the ones we love most in the kitchen.

VILLAGE ROOMS

 sumak

Our first village room is 'Sumak.'

Sumac, an essential ingredient in a kitchen that loves sour flavors. The furniture in this room is in the style of English antiques. With tones reminiscent of sumac, it has a unique texture and taste. We associated it with Sumac due to its distinctive presence, not conforming to everything but having a unique stance of its own.

mercanköşk

The second of our spiced rooms is "Mercanköşk."

Due to the powerful, earthy, and green, fresh character of this fresh spice, which is abundant in our garden and on our table, we thought it was suitable for this room. Another important aspect for us is "healing," meaning creating a product by repairing and improving what already exists. We wanted to welcome Çiy Konukevi guests with this spirit by repairing and improving some 'vintage' or 'antique' furniture, curtains, and lighting, just as we do in the restaurant and kitchen. In Mercanköşk, staying true to the village house spirit, guests are greeted with a hand-carved door, a cast mosaic staircase leading to a bath with a copper basin, and brass furniture with swan carvings.

ıtır

And then there's "Itır."

We use this fresh spice, reminiscent of freshness and vitality, the most in the kitchen in fermented products, ice creams, jams, and meats. The white furniture of Itır in our guesthouse rooms, along with the village-style roof and the wrought-iron bed with a linen canopy, gave a simple and unadorned feeling, which is why we thought it evoked this name.

OLIVE ROOMS

Now, let's talk about our Olive Rooms;
Since the first day, we have felt like guests to the olive trees in the valley where we are located. These trees, with their grandeur, enchant us and remind us of how small and temporary we are. We wanted these trees to inspire the design of our three rooms. Comfort takes a bit more precedence in the Olive Rooms. Repurposed furniture, combined with the functionality of new ones, come together to remind us to "slow down" with the view of Kuşadası Bay and the valley. The fundamental difference in our "eclectic" dishes, and thus our tables. We have been working from the very beginning to convey this feeling in the guesthouse.

hamades

"Hamades," Ege civarında bulunan Hurma cinsi zeytinin Rumca ismidir.

Çiy'de ise, bahçelerinde 800 ila 1000 yıl yaşadığı tahmin edilen güzel iki ağaçlarından ilham alarak adını verdiğimiz Çiy Konukevi'nin loft odasına verdiğimiz bir isimdir. Ege köyünde uyanmanın tadını çıkaracağınız geniş ve tam anlamıyla 'eklektik' Hamades, bahçesi ve terasıyla sizi saracak.

kalamata

"Trilye" and "Kalamata" are two varieties of olives found in the valley. These rooms, which are mirror images of each other, offer the joy of sharing the tranquility of the valley from their terrace. Staying in these rooms, enjoying the calmness of the valley from the terrace, might be the most delightful part after the meal.
